Hickory Run State Park

Marginal weather may have spoiled the all day/picnic plans, but these hearty (and Haertter) adventurers would not be denied a trip to Boulder Field and Hawk Falls. Flip-Flops may not be the best choice of footwear for boulder jumping, but again, nothing was deterring this crew. Camp Finkernagel is evolving each year, 2008 was a larger group for a shorter visit. 3 Generations made the trek this time, which, for the forseeable future, will be the maximum possible. Who knows what next time will bring?
