Round 2 HR v Northeastern
Wow. Northeastern spent the first quarter of their long evening watching the HR girls show them the finer points of basketball. After a 13-0 start, NE's only scoring in the quarter came on a few free throws. When a team is that out of a game, it's hard to get back in- and the rest of the game confirmed that.
An interesting observations on the evening though- You may notice a few pictures of mascots in the gallery- the bobcat, and some sort of bird who didn't seem to want to go home after it's game was over. The lame Orange Guy doesn't count. Lacking of course, is a HR mascot. We need one. Perhaps a likeness of the Bishop. (Sorry about that- it was a late night) Seriously though- Comment on the mascot pictures with some ideas and we will see what we can get going.
Getting back to basketball- Saturday may be the toughest challenge yet for the girls, as they climb up the state tournament. With a light schedule of games shows on TV, hopefully HR can fill the house!
