Score 4 A Cure 04/04/09 Action Shots
All went well with the posting, so everything that is available is now online. There are over 700 shots between this gallery and the team photos gallery, so hopefully your player will be here somewhere!
Since many of you may be new to FotoFink, here is some info-
Everything is arranged into galleries, as you probably saw when you made your way here. In addition, there are search options on the front page (by date or keyword) or on any gallery page (keyword only). For this gallery, your keywords are the jersey colors- Pink, White, Yellow, Green, Camo, Gray, Navy, Orange, Purple, and one exception- Goalie. Note that there was a purple team, but only one of their jerseys was actually purple, so those players are keyed as white, pink, or whatever color they actually wore. Searching should help you find your own player a little faster, browsing can be fun if you want to relive the entire day's festivities.
On most pages, there is a "Buy" button. Feel free to use it to order prints, which will be delivered directly to your home. I have tried to keep the prices reasonable for the prints- This is not what I do for a living, so I am not overly concerned about the financial side of what happens here. When I first started this website, I looked at what others were charging who were doing similar work, and set my prices at about 1/2 of theirs. So far that seems to work for everyone.
Most of the shots on the site are cropped to 5x7, because that ratio kind of sits in the middle of all the popular sizes. Most print sizes should need very little cropping in checkout. Please do me the favor of paying attention to the crop when you check out- It bothers me to no end when after all the effort it takes to get the photos here, someone orders a print with half of their player's head shopped off because of the cropping. You'll see what I mean as you check out. If you truly can't make something work, (I have to have this in an 8x10, but I am forced to crop out the ball) send me a note (sfinkernagel@hotmail.com) and I might be able to go back to the original and re-edit to the size you need.
In an effort to get these posted quickly, I did not purge the bad shots as thoroughly as I do in other galleries. You may see some blurred shots, cut-off body parts, or poor action scenes as you browse through. I may still go through and delete some of these in the next few days as I have time; In the meantime, please judge my work on the shots you like best.. ;)
Anyway- The girls seemed to have fun playing, I enjoyed being there for the day, I hope you enjoy the pictures. Thanks to Calli, Alyssa, Colleen, and anyone else involved for getting this going. Having fun for a good cause is a true win-win.
