HR v Garden Spot 05/27/08
A few thoughts spring to mind after watching the Royals fall in three straight matches to the Garden Spot (Garden Spot??) Spartans- Out of our league, down in flames, etc. are the easy ones- While the scores in this match did not indicate a blowout, it never felt to me like our boys were really in any of these games. Overall though, those statements put an unfairly negative spin on what was a very successful season. Credit our team for putting together an extraordinary season and reaching the state tournament, playing well beyond anyone's expectations. Credit Garden Spot with some very effective defense (perhaps the best blocking I've seen all year) and effective execution in their victory.
I can't say that I will mind being outside a little more, but sadly, this will be the end of volleyball shots for a while. In other words- If you have been waiting to see if the photography gets any better- at least your wait is over. Feel free to use the "Buy:this photo" button as there are no better shots coming from the next game. Thanks to all of you for your support here at FotoFink. I'll look forward to getting shots of your favorite players next season- either on the floor or in the stands.
One final note- while editing these shots, I realized about halfway through that my photoshop settings were a bit off- As a result, some of these files are not large enough to make some of the "poster sized" enlargements. If a shot you want is not available in the size you want- email me (sfinkernagel@hotmail.com) and I will rework any of these for you.
